Top 5 of 2020

Through all of the craziness of 2020 we have looked back to some good times and we have put together our Top 5 INTENSE moments of 2020.

PRIMER S WITH ÖHLINS SUSPENSION

Just like a parent picking their favourite child, we shouldn’t really admit to this. We of course love all of the bikes in our INTENSE range, but if there is one that has stood out this year as ‘something special’ then it has to be the Primer S. Just like a normal 29” Primer but with suspension from the Swedish specialists Öhlins and a whole host of other top quality components… all finished off in INTENSE racing red. Beautiful.

WORLD CUP DOWNHILL RACING RETURNS

2020 was a year that none of us could have ever imagined, so it was a relief for race fans that back in October there was a brief return to some form of normality. Slightly oddly it was the World Championships that would be first up, quickly followed by two double-header World Cup rounds in Slovenia and then Portugal. It was a difficult time for racers so it was great to see Aaron Gwin back on a World Cup podium with a fourth place at round three.

We’d already seen INTENSE team rider Oscar Härnström going nuts at the Audi Nines earlier in the year, but nothing had prepared us for his top secret ski jump in October! Situated right in the heart of Örnsköldsvik in Sweden, Oscar not only nailed the jump in the daylight, but he also went back to hit-it-up in the dark. Spectacular stuff… and ever the racer, he even sprinted at the start!

TODD’S TAZER

Another one of our other favourite bikes of the year was INTENSE Factory Racing team manager Todd Schumlick’s special Tazer eBike. A cool new gray paint job, a fresh hand drawn logo and a sweet component build... this Tazer was something special.

COMMITMENT TO EUROPE AND THE UK

After some ‘interesting’ years for the brand in Europe we have re-set and re-structured in 2020. INTENSE EUROPE and the UK are once again wholly owned by INTENSE HQ in California. What this means is that the team here is purely focussed on the INTENSE brand and offering you the highest quality products with the best advice, service and aftercare. It is exciting times here at INTENSE Europe and we are glad to have you along.
